With the small number that they made and the number of totaled ones I have read about it is now more of a Survivor Series than a torch.

I wanted to keep my car over 100,000 miles, and probably would have still kept it!!

I have kept mine over 100,000. I normally only keep a car for 4 years and then trade it. I should have traded it last month but decided to keep it as long as I can. Like you said before the only way I could replace it is with a used one since they dropped the only true colour.

It would explain a lot! It is probably a plot of those blue car drivers.

Y'know, I *did* see a blue FR-S in Chattanooga at an adjacent red light when we arrived! Bastard probably coordinated the hit.

I'm heavily, *heavily* debating about getting another one if I can. My girlfriend, mom, and older brother feel I should look at something bigger, but I love small nimble cars. And now I see how they hold up being rammed from behind at 60+ or more, I feel they hold up rather well!

It's hard not looking for my car when I come out of a store! I try to find my car and am lost in a sea of normal colors, only to realize "Oh hey, you're in the white Caddy over there".

Makes me wonder why Toyota dropped Hot Lava. I mean, the paint code says it all: H8Rs gon' hate.

On the flip side, I've wondered why Subaru never made BRZs in orange. The only color close to it was that Molten Pearl on the Lexus RC200, and possibly the Sunburst Orange Metallic that GM used on some Silverados.

Something close is available on a lot of GM cars. I believe the current Camaro comes in a color called "Crush" that is close.

Orange was a traditional Toyota colour for sports cars back in the 60s. The Celica and 2000GT both were comon in orange. There was even some early advertizing for the 86 that pushed this point. I did think it odd that they dropped it since they did make a big deal about it in the begining. Guess it just wasn't selling well.
Subaru on the other hand is all about the blue. They always have been.
