Man - I'll stick with my Swatch. It tells the time, day and date. It's tough and when it wears out in fifteen years or so I can buy a new one for fifty bucks.

There's also this watch starting at 99 cents!

I found a 20 on the ground while browsing this thread on my phone, decided it was destiny and bought one of those cheap watches on eBay. Will report back on how crappy it is.

You just expressed my first though when I opened this thread! LE GS with gently intergrated 86 theme would be great!

He-he! As we say: "Don't measure others with your own yard-measure" (or something like that). As an owner of not very practical sports car you should have symphathy to other people's passions. As I person whose small watch collection cost way more than a car (before I purchased brand new GT 86) I'm very tolerant to ways other people spend their money

Agreed. I also have more invested in timepieces than in my car. In my opinion, it is truly the last remaining art of fine craftsmanship.

You can purchase the same Citizen watch for $200 without the 86 logo. It is costly because of the limited edition.

Citizen does make very fine chronographs. They are worth what they go for. Some people are just cheap and scoff at what others buy.

A sub $500 watch is just that. A sub $500 watch.
