Need more information. What is your suspension set up now and do you have any planned mods? And what tires?

i would recommend deciding not to make a track only car until you know what you want. things like street tires and strut bars are kinda wasted on a track car. the best thing to do in search of a track car would be to just buy a spec miata for a fraction of the price.

long term plan is trailer only race car. life long budget lol i want quality. i want the best. things like trunk struts im not looking into. my car will be caged.
ive been racing cars for a long time now, i know how a car should behave on a track and under extreme conditions. i just need to know the corrrect adjustable parts so i can adjust after each track session. |

would the bigger front and rear sways cause too much under/oversteer? i mean it is adjustable. so y not have it just for the drift days (i perfer to grip n go instead of drifting). also isnt the gtspec rear camber arms better built?

Yeah check out cortex they have some front lower control arms you would be interested in. For sways I'm a big whiteline fan and they also have some rear lower control arms coming out soon.
Tein src coilovers (highly recommended by CSG) Cortex front LCA Whiteline rear LCA Whiteline front and rear adjustable sways Ap racing endurance bbk Should be a good start for a track car from what I have seen. |

W2W? Time attack? Weekend track car? Classing? Restrictions? Weight and power goals? What is your driving experience? What classes have you raced? What cars have you previously driven? What mods? How do you want the car to behave? The more information you provide me, the more I can provide for you. I don't like recommending parts for the short term that are eventually going to get replaced in the long term, and I can make recommendations for any budget, but I gotta know what your eventual goal is to do so. |

short term is DD and weekend track car. ive done time attack mostly, few drift event but mehh i like grip and laptimes more. i enjoy doing hot laps, getting the fastest times possible. weight is as low as possible, power for this car i want 280-320whp. ive been racing starting with karts since i was 13. my frist and second track car was both a 350z (ive had 2). ive always signed up in the super advanced class. ive had a few power mods but mainly was chasis/handling/braking/r-compounds. thats all i need, but this car is way underpowered. i dont believe in doin work twice, if imma get a mod, i will save up and get the correct mod the first time, not go back and change things, only things i would change is adjustments.
