Hey man, yes we just started to act as an organized group in Riyadh.

Our 1st gathering will be this coming Friday in Riyadh @ Can Cafe & Restaurant (Tamimi Mall @ Rabwah) right after sunset.

Well I finally joined the club, MT BRZ in WR Blue. Still breaking her in and she feels great already! I'm currently in Riyadh for work but hopefully soon enough I'll be back in my hometown Dhahran.

I just stumbled upon this thread! I've been working and living in Jeddah for past 3 yrs. I've seen a couple of 86s driving around together on Corniche Rd. a few times and maybe it could have been one of you.

I plan to pick up a manual 86 or BRZ within this year. Yet to visit the dealerships so I wanted to ask if manual transmission 86 and/or BRZ is readily available here in the Kingdom?

I hope so because I read about some having trouble finding new MT models at the dealerships.

I'm also debating whether I should hold out for 2016 model because I hear rumors of small facelift and updates. Not much, but since it'll arrive only a few months from now, I might as well wait.

I think that there will be no face lift in 2016.
I dont recommend that you wait unless you are also consedring the FT-1

I see. FT-1 is still at least 2~3 yrs away, I believe. I have no intention to wait that long.

BTW, I see you are from Jeddah. Where did you buy and install all of your modifications? I'm wondering how SC'd twins drive... Wanna give me a ride sometime?
