hey guys if weve got a scratch going down the length of the window because we lost the felt strips can we go after them to fix this? and i read this this quick and didnt see an answer to the question
Is there a subaru tsb? part number? something to give them when most every brz owner tries to get a subaru dealership to do something, ANYTHING |

Thanks, but I was hoping for a Subaru letterhead... I have the Scion copy from the inital post but I'm not sure the idiots at my local service would understand that its the same #### car!

FYI, Subaru updated their version of this TSB with new part numbers as of 1/28/14.
Unfortunately, this appears to be a "safety" feature built in to the window indexing. There is a note about it in your owner's manual. However, with this fix, it looks like they reduced the distance the window drops, so it should seal better when it's frozen. |

Anyone else get their weather stripping strip away?
It's almost the entire length of the seal and it'll suck the stripping in when it's wet or cold. The motor itself is fine.

Thanks, sounds like that's what I'll try. Probably a good test for a different dealer since mine sucks so bad to see how they take care of it.
