There is definitely room for improvement there! I may try to make my own out of aluminum. A project for the future...

I just finished washing my FR-S........

No big deal you say .... ??

Well, yes it is ...... it's a semi-annual event.

Plus, I did the WHOLE car (including the wheels) ...... in one time frame ...... with only 5 short breaks.

However, I did let the bottom half drip dry .... too hard to reach down there ...... maybe I need a taller car ......

Well, now that you asked .....

I used the one pail and broom method.

Just stop in the stream and splash water the wagon with the pail. Broom till all the mud was off, then rinse with more water.

Didn't cost anything (we already had a wooden pail and a wheat straw broom) and the water was free.

Once a year rub down the wagon with linseed oil and grease up the axles as needed.

See ....... soooo simple ......

I like it short. If it was up to me I would just buzz it all off once a week, but Mrs. S-ho won't let me.

Yes, I don't shave on the weekends. It's all grey anyway.

Mrs. S-ho doesn't allow me to wear my "good" shirts when I'm just out goofing off.

Would a mirror on the underside of the bonnet be an idea?

I was at a cars and coffee today and saw an old Mustang with the underside of its bonnet mirrored. It definitely got me thinking...It would be tricky though because of my TrackSpec hood louvers installation.
