Understeered into the oncoming lane around a blind corner last night. Did not crash.

My FRS, unlike my Galaxy S8, did not crash today. Woot.

Apparently! Luckily my distance viewing is still fine and I did not crash.

Drive my FR-S into town this evening to pick up some BBQ. On the way back, at a light, beside my car, sat a big ol honking pickup. He set his brakes and when the light changed, he leaped out front and roared off. I let him go.

However, at the second light, the teenager came out in me, and when he set his brakes, I revved it up and when the light changed, off we went. I jumped him off the line, wound it up to about 6,500 rpms, yanked it into second gear ..... and got 2nd gear rubber .......

Now, I didn't know that our cars could get "2nd gear rubber" and I was pleasantly surprised that I still had the coordination to pull it off ......

Yep, I beat him out by about a truck length ...... and did not crash ......

(oh, how little it takes to make me gleeful these days .... )

Drove the frs to work today. Saw some folks play a round of bumper cars right in front of me. I, on the other hand, did not crash.

Drove from Long Island to Samuel's Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck, NY (owned by Walking Dead's Negan Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Ant Man's Paul Rudd). Town was scenic, good restaurants, even though the candy store is tiny it's got tons of stuff that'll screw up your blood sugar levels!

Needles to say, the 10 Series was flawless and averaged about 29.6 MPG for 260 miles.

They would have had to drive through NYC to get there... I think that might be considered a crash by default.

Did not crash but saw tons of speeders getting caught both ways. Those State Troopers are busy.
