Here is our winning lap from Black Friday SpeedSF Challenge RWB Class. We hope we could get even closer to 1:50 next time at Buttonwillow Raceway.

In a couple weeks, the car will be back down in Socal (Socal 86Cup finale) with its owner and I'm sure he'll give us feedback on the recent improvements from the last time he tracked the car (2 wknds ago). We enjoy working closely with our drivers. With everything we need here, it is easy to tune, align, and repair cars. And when necessary, we will travel to the track to offer technical and driving help. We love to track too! |

Bumpety bump for the simple reason that it is #86Cup weekend for Norcal and Socal. And that @Elite Performance will be at both - if not in person (NCRC is full!) then in spirit and a phone call away for tech help. We like keeping tabs on our drivers

Was able to drop from 1:51 to 1:46 at MRLS due to work done and advice from Gary and Eric at Elite Performance. Car is properly quick.
Ace Header + FP E85 flex tune (Tuned by Elite Performance) Tein SRC Coilovers + SPL LCA installed and adjusted by Elite Performance Alignment done by Eric who personally rode with me at BW13CW to figure out how I drive and thus tailored the alignment to me 235 NT01's mounted on RPF01 17x9

9/15 - Picked up a 13' BRZ and began modifying the car.
11/15 - Removal of rounded E10 bolts holding OEM seat by Gary. *Even with the E10 socket, the bolt head was rounded off and beyond repair. I tried vice grips, hammering 8 & 7mm socket, drilling bolt out, extractor bit. FT86Club, Yelp, and Facebook reviews led me to Elite Performance. Gary made quick work of the E10 bolts and also removed the OEM wheel locks that came on the car (previous owner lost the master key). 12/15 - 91 Pump Gas Ecutek Tune by Eric. *Unmarried the Open Flash Tablet and received the new Ecutek tune on Elite Performances Dynapack. Torque dip eliminated. 1/16 - Track alignment by Eric. *I installed coilovers over the weekend and had the car aligned by Eric. When Eric tried adjusting the driver side rear camber, he noticed the notch used to hold the camber washer in my SPC LCA (from my WRX) was damaged/flattened and they would not hold the alignment. Upon being told the news, I quickly realized my choices were either: 1) Find a replacement SPC LCA and come back the following weekend to fix that side. 2) Switch to SPL LCA's which Elite had in stock. Neither of these options were exercised as Gary quickly fabricated some welds to substitute the flatted notch. __________________________________________________ My experience with Elite Performance has been phenomenal and they are my go to shop. Every time I visit, I meet other track enthusiasts, many of which drive 86's, S2000's, or M3's. Besides providing auto repair, oil change, tires, aftermarket product installation, they also have the ability to dyno tune, custom fabricate! They also accommodate Saturday appointments and often stays late after their closing hours working on customers cars. |

Nice work! Good to see the Elite shop and FRS crew out there, hoping to drag my /M coupe to more SpeedSF events later in the year. The beginner group was a bit of a shitshow... but I persevered and had a bunch of clean laps in the afternoon.
