Boomslang Emtron Toyota 86 / BRZ / FR-S GM LS swap full PNP wiring kit

We are proud to announce a full PNP wiring solution for performing a Gen IV GM LS swap into the the Toyota 86, Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. All model years (2012-2019) are supported.

This kit was developed directly with Emtron USA.

This is a true PNP solution. Not a single wire needs to be cut to perform the installation of this kit. The harnesses are built using mil-spec Tefzel wire and Raychem DR-25 sleeving. Everything is built with new OEM connectors and terminals as a turnkey system.
  • The kit includes a complete GM LS engine harness, interior Emtron KV8 jumper harness, alternator harness, engine ground harnesses, starter and transmission harnesses.
  • The kit requires the use of an Emtron KV8 engine management system, which fully replaces the OEM 86 ECU.
  • The Emtron KV8 offers full engine control and OEM CAN bus support.
  • Key start and push button start vehicles are supported.

The full installation manual is attached to this thread.

Are all gauges, AC, power steering, etc. working? Is anything not working? If so, is there a plan to get that working?

The Emtron KV8 supports all the features of the car with their OEM 86 CAN integration. The OEM traction control system not longer functions, that function is performed by the Emtron KV8.

The connectors are not particularly close to the exhaust manifold.
