Spoiler Options

After a spoiler, as close as possible to the OEM that comes on the GTS/tS models. Have heard Subaru and Toyota dealers charge a lot. Any recommendations?

I'm in Sydney if that matters.

Have a ring around the local wreckers.

Kids are always smashing these things up.

Here’s an example of how Subaru and Toyota rip you off!

I was at a dealership in Melbourne Friday having a CEL issue dealt with. Saw that new Toyota’s are fitted with fin antennas now instead of the black stick type like my car has.

Thought while there I’d ask what one would be worth. New they are about $120 to $180 on eBay, etc, so allowing for dealership OEM ripoff I was expecting $250 or thereabouts.

Nearly collapsed when informed that NEW from Toyota; $570! And that’s without fitting if I wanted them to do it.

Informed the stunning spare parts girl with sensational legs and a pretty short skirt, NOT to bother ordering one in for me.

I’ll stick with the OEM one..

No wonder I got a CEL in my car. When you have model quality girls working in spare parts and presumably walking around workshops, techs are gong to miss things like pushing a wire in firmly!

Consider trunk swapping someone with the same color that got the spoiler.

Nobody with a ts is going to trunk swap for your base spoiler or plain trunk... Get the sard wing, dirt cheap. Awesome style if money ain't a think check the verus low drag is pretty ts wing-like. I have the sard cf, love it.

Literally wow. Yeah it's a joke. I found a shop that sells a boot lip one about an hour away from where I live that I'm going to check out soon. It's only $180, ABS Plastic, mainly going to see the product because I'd rather not buy it and then it turns out to be really shitty.

Be careful what you thro on these cars with relation to spoilers/wings. They can go from a beautiful shaped car to a shit box with the wrong choice, and they do NOTHING with regard to downforce unless you're doing over 160kmh..

I installed the Stillen because it was very subtle but even now after a year of having it fitted I'm in two minds whether the car looks better now or when it had nothing.

I dread ever having to take mine off and it's just double sided tape, drilled and bolted would make a new boot the only way of returning it to original.
