Wheel repair needed, preferable around Worcester area
I recently had a new set of tires mounted to a set of Motegi Forged Tracklites, and the tire shop (who shall remain nameless for the time being) destroyed the inside of the rim on two wheels from having it clamped incorrectly on their machine. I got a full refund for their fuckup, but I'm still concerned about the gouges on the wheel itself from a structural standpoint. They're deep enough that they dug material out of the wheel and left it sticking up like a jagged tuna can lid, and I first discovered the issue when I cut my hands when I grabbed the wheel. In my opinion, the wheel's strength has been compromised (to what degree, I am unsure) and I'm concerned that it could fail under track conditions like high speed/heat/load/etc. I'm not looking to have the wheels refinished, - I just want them examined to determine if I can just sand out the gouges by hand and touch them up with a rattle can, or if they need more extensive repair, like fill welding and machining. They're on the inside portion of the rim, and it's a black wheel, so I'm not concerned about the cosmetic aspect much...I just don't want them to come apart. Are there any REPUTABLE shops around?

Yeah, but not terribly high quality. I'll post them up later.

Well here's the best I have...it's still difficult to see how deep the gouges are though...

If these were OEM wheels, I wouldn't hesitate to just sand them out and call it a day. The rims on these wheels are pretty thin though, and they're already rated at a lower capacity than the OEMs, so using them as track wheels has me questioning myself..
