Saw someone in an Ultramarine FRS in Louisville today. Was happy to see a fellow twin driver, there aren't that many of us around here.

Thanks man!
No, there wasn't any inventory in town when I started looking. I found this one in Charlotte NC at Williams Subaru. I'd been trolling dealership websites in a 500 mi radius of Lou. after talking numbers with Huffman, where I bought my STI. Williams offered me $1700 more for my trade than Huff. and when I got there they kept their word. Sale price was $2000 under msrp. Plus, when I got home I was half way thru break-in!

While we are on this subject, I don't suggest you or anyone else buy from that dealership or salesperson. Unless you'd prefer to be disrespected, ignored and/or mislead. Feel free to read HERE if you are curious what I mean.

Hey Wondark-
Just read the link to your car buying post. A couple years ago I pulled up to that dealership in my STI to buy an oil filter. When I came out with the filter a friendly young guy (salesman, possibly your guy) was standing by my car and we started talking about it. He asked where I bought it & I told him the other Subaru dealership in town "because when I'd contacted your dealership the person I talked to acted like he expected me to pay MSRP for the car." The greasy little a**hole just grinned at me.
But you now have a great car, as you know, so don't let those dix harsh your buzz. And, FWIW, the rest of you guys don't need to tell him what you paid for your cars, it doesn't matter now!

It's all good, I just don't want others to get into the same mess I did. My gut tells me all of them are greasy before the purchase but my heart was in it because of the car. Love will blind you guys BEWARE!

If my wife reads this I love her too.... Just kidding, she probably likes the car more than I do.

Can we not just make our own meet? Do people still do meetups?
