I purchased my BRZ with the Edelbrock kit on a while back and it's time to change the oil. I was wondering what oil grade I should be using. I guess I should also say that I live in Alaska as well. Any help is appreciated, Thank you.

It has the OEM header, OEM overpipe, and OEM front pipe (basically has two factory cats in place) with the CSG Touring86 Catback exhaust.

Jesus christ. Any idea what it would make with an Ace on there? That's probably creeping into the "need a majorly built motor" range? Or maybe do an Ace with 91?

Hey guys, how bad is the off the shelf edelbrock tune that comes with the kit? Should I go with a custom tune or would it be ok to rune the edelbrock tune for a while?

Also, where can I find the edelbrock tune? I've been looking everywhere and it seems impossible to find.

Thanks in advance!

Just email calibration@edelbrock.com with your information (dongle ID, year, etc.) and ask for it. As far as the tune itself, it is a generic tune that will work, however, if you want to maximize performance for your car and setup...get a custom tune.

The FA20 functions fine with the ACE header on E85 and 91 on stock pulley.

It's a tune specific to CARB exemption and 50 state smog legal status, which requires you to have both unmodified factory catalytic converters in place.

I do have both catalytic converters in place, all I have done is a borla axleback exhaust which shouldn't make a difference when compared to stock. My question is would I hurt the engine or not get the full potential of the supercharger and my engine when comparing the Edelbrock carb off the shelf tune to a custom tune from Delicious tuning or HRI?

Kit is going in tomorrow and I have the Carb tune ready but am willing to get custom tune if proven to be beneficial, even while car is bone stock.

The Edelbrock CARB tune is good for what it is. We can set you up with a DT Stage 1 tune if interested.

Approaching 400WHP on E85 with a lot of area under the curve I'd bet.
