If I became finacially inclined to buy such a car, I would rather buy LFA---R35----R8 in that order of preference, with the LFA being a stretch. Not a fan of the Italians

Even if money is no object I'm not interested in owning any of the current Ferraris, Lambos or Porsches.

Late 80s/early 90s ones, on the other hand...

If you appreciate the 86 then you would probably lean towards classic cars instead of the computerized automated stuff they have now, but that's probably just me.

I am a diehard Lamborghini fanboy and aspire to own a Lamborghini of my own, but after driving my friend's LP570 Performante, I didn't care for ownership as much...

These beautiful machines are extremely capable -- no questioning that, as they grips like nothing else I've driven while sounding amazing. But during the entire time behind the wheel, I was on edge about hitting potholes, cars following too closely, scraping the ridiculously designed Italian front end when entering / exiting places, etc. Obviously being this cautious detracts from the fun factor. With the 86, I just drive and enjoy the fun of rowing my own gears with significant less worry.

It's weird comparing a $25,000 car to a $250,000 exotic, but the 86 is a better driver's car compared to the Lambos... and more fun imo.

I know someone who is on his third Aventador (he has color commitment issues lol), yet the most fun he's had is with a track-prepped NA Miata.

Now Ferraris and Porsches on the other hand... are real driver's cars!

I still want my Lambo, but the 86 is such a great distraction for the time being!

Their are not a ton here in east coast Canada and they usually go for a higher price. Also more expensive on insurance and tickets, tires, brakes, and no warranty. I've been hooked to the twins when I first heard about them so I'm more then happy with my FRS every time I sit down and buckle up inside. So I'm still content to stare and druel every time I see a Corvette on the road . One day I hope to have one, but I am in no rush.

When I replace the FR-S, it'll be with some flavor of Cayman.

Why buy a Ferrari when I'm making half a million a year when I can have more fun in a BRZ for a lot less money?

Just because you have money does not mean you have to spend it.

No plans to replace the FR-S...unless of course if I win the Powerball, then all bets are off.

My exotic dream cars would be either an Exige S or a Lexus LFA

Assuming an entire group people will be successful enough to own/maintain a $100k+ car based solely on the type of car they own now is kind of pointless.

Always wanted a corvette

Was going to get myself one for my 50th birthday. Absolutely love the new ones. However. Have to say no longer a priority as I love everything about my FRS and am more than content as I have been able to personalize it to my liking. My wife is going to be the beneficiary of this as she will be getting the new Porsche Macan to drive around town in. (I'll be driving it on weekends though. LOL)

Honestly, Ferraris and Lambos have never been too high on my dream car list. In fact, my list in general doesn't involve any super cars at all.

1. Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86 Trueno Hatch) - Still can't find one anywhere near me. If I could find one now, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
2. Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86 - Accomplished
3. Volkswagen Golf GTI (Preferably a Mk1-2 or Mk6) - I want this to be my family/practical car
4. Mazda RX-7 FC3S - Because ROTARY
5. Subaru WRX STi (Mk2 non-bug eye) - Eventually want to start doing amateur rally cross events

As a student working towards going to med school in a year, my dream is to get a Lamborghini Aventador as my first super car.
