What temperature do you put A/C on?

Temps have been hovering around the 50's and 60's midday lately. I find that I put the A/C when it is sunny and the outside temperature is around 62 degrees. Seems a little surprising, but vent air alone does not really keep the car cool enough. At what temperature do you find yourself reaching for the A/C button?

I don't know what the temp. is when I turn it on. I reach for the a/c button when I feel uncomfortable.

Max hot when I get in. When it gets too hot I just shut it off and open both windows just a tiny bit.

I leave it at 70 degrees, full auto (which means A/C is on all the time). That's fine for almost all the time.

With auto climate control, I set the car to 72 and forget it (this goes for any car) but usually with new cars I open the windows to cool the car down and let the gaseous "new car death smell" out. I rarely use A/C on manual climate control cars; I keep the windows down unless I'm getting on the highway then I close the windows and turn it on low.

I usually leave my cars at 72 if I turn it on or down to 68 if I start getting to hot.

I almost never use AC.

Only when it's like 100 degrees, humid, and I'm dressed for work or a wedding or something.

My windows are down march to October

I rarely use the a/c. I don't like the extra engine load. I'm the type of guy to have my window down or at least cracked year round. If its nippy out, the heat is on low. In the summer, if its really hot or I'm in traffic, is the rare occasion the ac is crankin'.

You guys with the auto climate control; does setting it to 72 and leaving it work? I've always done this with my other cars with auto climate, but I've yet to drive a Subaru with it for any extended amount of time.
