Since I reviewed the wheel directory so extensively before I picked these up I figured I would add them since no one else has yet. Lowered on Stance coils. Tires 215/40 225/40. For anyone curious about the hood, roof and trunk its wrapped in a flat carbon fiber vinyl.

Wheels look great although I'm not a fan of the wrap.

It looks better in person. Whenever I take a picture of it it always looks like its just flat black.

Wheels look great! For some reason, I think that if the wheels were white, it'd make the car pop more.

Love the wheels.

So the hood, trunk and roof aren't carbon fiber? So you wrapped them to look like they are? I don't get it.

Yes, the trunk, roof, and hood are wrapped in a vinyl that looks like carbon fiber.

So it is as heavy as a stock piece (technically heavier) and instead of matching the rest of the body, it is a totally different color and finish, to create the illusion that the piece is lighter than stock? Is this purely cosmetic?

As far as the hood is concerned... You aren't going to save much weight at all with a carbon fiber hood.

Unless you are tracking the car professionally, I can't justify spending carbon fiber kinda money to save ~1 lbs

Personally not my cup of tea, but if he likes the carbon fiber look mo powah.

Pretty much, but as tahdizzle stated; you're not going to get much lighter than the stock... and if it makes OP happy, then I'm happy for him.
