I was on my own for lunch yesterday, so I stopped at a Chinese place in Caldwell to check it out, and got an order of wor wonton soup to go. It was ok tasting, but nothing but shrimp and wontons. No beef, chicken, or a single veggie. Wtf? Their menu has hamburgers on it. I miss real Chinese food.
Woke up this morning with gout. Ouch. |

I'm proud of him. He passed the written and driving tests first go. I told him this summer I'll teach him how to drive stick in the twin. |

I remember in school he always would throw his feet up on the desk and kick back, you could clearly see a can of chew rolled up in his sock |

Having had 3 sons with at least two of them on my policy for the past 15 years (varied between 1 and 3 depending on their age), the best strategy seems to be to have a car (the oldest least valuable car) with them assigned as primary driver. That reduces (but does not eliminate) the upcharge on the other cars for having a 16 year old in the house.
I checked into putting them on their own policy but that ended up costing more because their policy will be more expensive and your policy will still have the upcharge because they live at the address and have access to the cars. That's using the same company for both though. If you use different companies I suppose some white lies could get it reduced for you once they are past 18. Down to one on my policy now, and he'll be off before summer! Of course all this could vary depending on insurance company and state regulations.

Age doesn't seem to make much difference between 16 and 25. Lack of accidents/tickets will though at renewal time.
