To be clear, it wasn't surging like you are thinking, Was very minor. But, like I said, still there.
It was mostly all the tune. Everyone I know that ran just the base tune experienced some kind of surging. They went on with other tuners who support this kit, and all said the power band was soooo much smoother.

That is about the size of it. The most recent Delicious Tuning tune has zero issues with surge on tip in. I have experienced several tunes and this one is by far the most OEM like in it's driveability that I have yet to experience. Our CARB approved complete system (when available) will be just as good as a stock FR-S or BRZ but it will be a locked tune and optimized for 91 octane only. Delicious can, as mentioned, offer something with similar driveablity for any fuel type, but it will not be CARB compliant.

I have no first hand experience with the FA20CLUB tune, but if they are tuning your car in person it will likely be excellent. I can only say that Bill has the most experience out of anyone in the US as far as tuning our product in concerned. While there are many capable tuners out there, I am very picky with how my car runs. As mentioned I have experienced a few tuner's tunes, (it's a pretty short list of the well known ones and multiple versions from said tuners) and will not say anything specific or negative about any of them. I will say that the one I currently use is Bill's.

So whats the best way to get the air out of the intercooler? Let it idle and top it off as the air comes out?

Looks like it's coming along. What's the trick to removing the allen bolts at the rear of the blower?

So it looks like you can do it with the manifold installed sweet.

I might be wrong, but tt looks like his car may be an AT so there wouldn't be a clutch actuator in the way of getting to those rear allen bolts.

I just had a look at my MT and I think you can remove the two 14mm clutch actuator bolts to get the clearance you need to remove all of the rear allen bolts. While I was back there I noticed the grey fitting on the back of the blower was leaking oil and appears to be stripped. I guess I'll be fixing that when I install my intercooler. :-p
