Bicycles

I didn't see a thread out there yet. Any other cyclist out there? I have a road bike that I like to ride. I haven't figured out how I'm going to strap it to the FR-S just yet. It might fit in the trunk if I take the front wheel, back wheel, and pedals off. I might have to get a roof rack...

I used to have a smart car. There was a cool design that used rods with threaded ends that screwed into the tow hook mounting points.

I was thinking about doing something like this for my BRZ.

Mountain biker myself, Spec. Stumpjumper Evo hard tail. I would think that you could get a bike in the back, by only taking the front wheel off. However, I haven't seen the car in person so maybe not. I would be pleasantly surprised if there was a roof rack made for this car...

Should not be a problem with the back seat folded down and the front wheel off your bike. My mountain bike fits just fine like that in my trusty CRX. Sorry that the FR-S wasn't designed with no seat in back like the CRX.

I'm on a road bike. After seeing the BRZ in person it looks like the bike should fit with the seat folded down. If not the wheels will come off and I'll fit in the back seat somehow, it's not riding on the outside

Did a little bit of race when I was a kid, mostly just messing around on the street and some flatland back in the 80s.

These days just cruising. Too old for anything else lol bones take a lot longer to heal now

I sold my road bike last year and want to get back on the saddle soon! I used to have a Felt Z25 on SRAM red/rival.

I have a singlespeed (not a fixie) that I ride in the summer and we were able to get the bike into the back of our Mini with the front tire off of course.

It barely fit

I'd think that since the 86 has more space that it'd fit, no problem.

I had to make a rack for my Spyder and it can haul two bikes. The FT-86 twins will have so much aftermarket support that a hitch mounted or roof rack is not so far away; not to mention, that universal trunk racks from similar cars (I have one for an Accord and many others) will also fit the 86.
I ride mtb and I am a roadie.

Two mountain bikes fit inside my corolla.Just need to remove wheels and drop seat posts. So if four track wheels can fit in an 86 I am sure two mountain bikes will.
