Haha.. I must sound like a moron. (: I was trying to figure out whether people thought it was a Supra because of Toyota badges. I can't imagine they would call it a Supra after seeing Scion badges. (;

If you badge your car as a Toyota, you're basically asking for it. The "average" person is not going to understand "oh, no it's a Scion, but Scion is owned by Toyota and it's a Toyota GT86 over in Japan. I love JDM stuff, so I took the emblems off and replaced them with the Japanese emblems". They will smile and nod and move on.

Well, I had my dealer remove the Toyota name and GT86 logo from the back of my car.
People have no idea what I'm driving ^^

(I removed it because it looks much better + it gets dirty after a while)

I'd bet you anything that if you did that, people would just think you're being ironic and ask EVEN MORE if it was a Supra lol

Just FYI, it's not called GT86 in Japan.

idk is it a supra?
met an old guy at a gas station and he finally went up to me as i was done pumping. he asked if it was the new celica and he had a celica GT. lol. he had a 350z and then asked me how i liked the car and if i think he should get one. i told him if he likes going around corners and stuff he should. i think based on his past cars, hes sold lol

Well, history tells us that about half of the celica models were in fact RWD. Just saying
