I got valenti tail lights but its not what i expected

So recently i bought some used valenti tail lights and some of the light bulbs dont work randomly. Not only that but they're not really sequential. Is there any way i can make the tail lights work 100% all the time?

Those definitely look like Valenti's. Can you post up a vid of them with the signals on and brake lights on? Together, and separately? That'll help us see the issues with the lights. Being able to see the issue helps us diagnose it

First off, you didn't get sequential tail lights, so there shouldn't have been any expectation otherwise. Secondly, did you test these when you bought them? They are used, so if you didn't get proof of full functionality before paying then you've learned a valuable lesson.

As for the left side bulbs, it is repairable, Kodename's thread he linked is long but spot-on. You need working electrical knowledge and soldering skill to get it done though, not to mention you're cracking open the housings and re-sealing it to do the repair. For that reason, many people opted for replacements. But the call is ultimately yours.

Those look like the sequential ones, there should be a switch coming off the wiring somewhere that switches it from the current mode to sequential mode.

As what other people have stated, not all the Valenti especially the first versions had the sequential feature. It was only like within the past year they released the sequential version.
If it is a true sequential one, then there should be a switch on the back of the tail light to toggle between standard and sequential.

Before buying used, make sure you test everything and it's the product you wanted.
