I know right?? It's like WTF?? Why do I need to choose to like all vendors from the farthest possible location?? And believe me, there are some shitty shops down here...

Shitty like:

Me: "Hi, I hear you guys have a Mustang Dyno and I want to use it. I will bring my tuner down to tune it. How much do you charge to use it and when is it available?"

A-hole: " Yes, we have a Mustang Dyno what car do you have?"

Me: "I have a Subaru BRZ"

A-hole: " Oh, we are not interested, we only do BMW's."

Me: "Oh, but I am not asking for you guys to tune it, I'm just asking to use Dyno Time"

A-hole: "No, we are not interested, we only do BMW's"

Really.... WTF???? I'll pay your rate to use, just let me use it.....

(True Story... sadly)

Edit: BTW, it was this shop

AVIOD them at all costs!!

MMMM AVO! Nice build so far man. Will the AVO kit bolt right up to the Nameless OP/DP?

Yes, both were designed to bolt up to the stock location. Vubaru has it already. Some loosening up and adjustment needed to be made but that is to be expected because the AVO turbine comes pre-assembled.

Good amount of progress was made today. HUGE thanks to @jazztennor. He helped me knock out a lot of things today!!!

Two pics for turbo and bottom engine headerless:

The install is not hard. It is time consuming, but you can follow instructions right along. Paul @AVOturboworld has been extremely helpful, even on a Saturday when he is off. I'm close to completing the install, now waiting for some more parts to arrive. I expect to finish the install next Friday. Thanks a lot for all the nice comments, it makes this thread very worthwhile!!

My parents and friends say the same thing; they really don't understand at all.

Great progress man! Thank you for sharing. Very interested in how the plumbing is run (where oil and coolant are sourced/returned, etc). Subbed!

I didn't take pics of that, (I can find one give me a few minutes) but basically to the left of the throttle body (when looking into the engine standing in the front of the car), there is a coolant line that runs towards the back and right of the engine. That one line is replaced with two lines for turbo water intake and return.

The oil return to the oil pump in the back of the block, (it goes in place of that triangular plate that people have had leak oil because it came loose from factory). The oil feed is a block bolt plug located in the front part of the left side injectors.

Edit: throttle water line:

@2forme, here is the plastic part that needs to be modified.

There are two plastic deflectors in the bumper. their function is to route air towards the radiator. The need to be modified to fit the IC inlet and outlet pipe. The are still left in place and still do their function. Here are mine with the pipes installed:

There's two more things to be modified, but extremely simple stuff. The windshied water tank rests in a hole and that hole was made bigger to make it sit lower and be able to rout the IC piping on that side. Lastly, the bar that runs top to bottom middle of the radiator needs to have the bottom part flattened out. That's it. The rest is just installing parts.

I'll do my best to remember. It bolts on to the back of the bumper beam.
