Is Bilstein any closer to getting it together? I'm looking for coils and I'd like to go with the cup kit in the next few months.

Bilstein seem really shot themselves in foot. There was demand, yet they failed to meet with offer, for whatever reasons.

Not so sure about that, I haven't heard great things about how well the B14/B16 kits have sold, at least in the US. The vast majority of 86 owners are not on the forums and are happy to buy budget systems off ebay/cheapest drop shipper or sponsoring whatever motorsport they enjoy.

I would be surprised if there were >100 B14+B16 kits on the roads in the US despite over 100,000 cars sold.

strat61caster: RCE mentioned shortages about all bilstein inventory. For 1.5 years in spring. Including cheap ones like B6, high end ones, also for other cars, not just twins, and of course once planned these. Even if they didn't sell in very large numbers, 2 years problems with stock/supply for most of their products regardless of variety and for which car still sounds to me like LOT of missed customers/sale opportunities/brand image damage.

I'm another B14 owner. There's got to be at least a dozen of us!

B16s here. I had T2s and replaced them. I much prefer the B16s, and am faster on track with them and they are more comfortable on the street. That said, I prefer stiffer rear springs than front springs, and believe it suits my driving style better. My T2s had 400 pound springs all around. I bet I'd be nearly two seconds faster at the local track with 550 pound rear springs on T2s.
