Turbo kit was just delivered!!

we're installing next weekend (march 3-4) and I have an appointment to get tuned on the 5th.

Install this weekend, i have a PTP T3 turbo blanket that should be delivered on Saturday, tune set up for Monday.

No new updates in the last month really...

I've been too busy enjoying the boosted life.

My Perrin exhaust got really quiet with the turbo. There is a member in Dallas who has a Dezod he thinks is too loud so we're switching catbacks.

I have trackspec hood vents but I'm still on the fence about installing them.

THERES A TURBO UP IN THIS BITCH

I realized I missed the perfect april fools opportunity to make y'all think I blew up the engine...

damn.

In other news, I think the may 19th and June 9-10 track days might be the BRZ's last. I'm just too terrified of actually killing the car. SO, to keep my track days going, I bought a 1991 Miata that I'm going to prep for track days and have a dedicated track toy. its yellow.

Do you mean crashing the car? Or blowing up the engine now that you have the JDL kit? Both?

Blowing up the engine. I still haven't been able to figure out the boost creep issue. I've ordered a 5psi spring to put into the wastegate instead of the 7psi thats in there now and hopefully that will help a bit.

The Miata looks great, runs OK, has some minor issues. My dad and I bought it together as a father/son project so he's really excited about it. I've already ordered parts to fix some of the issues this weekend.

How much were you creeping on the 7psi spring?

I used to track a '91, those little 1.6 motors are fun to rev.
