Make them do it right, you paid for it and they owe it to you!

Tell them you want the back bumper to look like the front bumper (that's made out of plastic too and somehow a Subaru robot in Gunma got it right). Your rear bumper has too much blue. At least they didn't feather it out.

I understand different materials have different reflective properties but that's off.

That needs to be taken back. That's ridiculous. Let us know how it goes.

Any chance you could take a better picture? I see a bluish hue on BOTH the front and back bumper. Can't tell if it's just the lighting. (of course I am partially color blind: reds, greens ... it all looks the same to me Seriously if you see the difference and they're willing to repaint .... find out if the paint is going to be the same. Same paint .... same result. They need to adjust the paint to account for the sun exposed adjacent body panels.

Was going to say if you can forget about it who cares, but looked at .jpg again and it does look two-tone. Absolutely complain.

Too lazy to read and figure out where you are but if it's an insurance repair tell them to stuff it, take the car to a better shop and get them to pay the bill. You should be totally within your rights to pick the shop regardless of price, going back to the same place will likely produce the same results imo. Good body shops are extremely hard to find, and most Yelp reviews will gave praise over quick turnaround and a smile and not a second thought to the quality of work.

Man up.
@Norville Rogers ...... I reckon the OP feels bad enough getting his car mashed up, then getting what he suspects is a less than satisfactory paint match job.

I also, reckon that he is just getting some opinions from his peers that may have had their cars repainted.

As far as your comment, I suggest you just use the scroll wheel on your computer's mouse or track ball to skip past posts that bother you.

An extremely true statement. In this case a lot of the times the average person assumes its good because its the same colour, and seems fine. They didn't look for the paint runs, multiple fisheyes, bad bondo work, or the lack of shine that area has. If you want your car to look like nothing happened, you have to be anal with the details.

I work with fleet cars and my last position was inspecting our cars for damage or bad body work for resale. We use inexpensive shops and that means a lot of stuff must get redone. Even when we hired some of the more expensive shops, some with brand names...same problems. I could tell lots of stories about screwed up work, my favourite though is a 2014 Genesis sedan. Apparently had 3 of our bodyshops work on it...all needed to be redone, but first, we send it to another shop for rear bumper work because it was cracked...when it returns it needed to be redone because the paint work was really bad...totaling 4 redos by 4 different shops.

Mine's got a door ding that I got fixed from the other guys insurance (all my other door dings are randos so SOL), I was told paintless dent removal.

I can see the paint now and they didn't bother wiping the compound out of the cracks. I have a hunch it was bondo'd.

I'm just not going to think about it because I don't care for showcars, I got this thing to beat it up and drive it hard. It's subtle, 99/100 people wouldn't notice it. The paint missing from the roof due to birdshit would be the first thing noticed anyway.

At this point if I want it pretty it's getting a respray in any damn color I choose, but I don't have a few thousand bucks laying around.

.
Or you sometimes have the reverse. Some customers will swear there is something wrong where not a single other soul can see it. My wife rear ended a guy and the repairs are one of the best I have ever seen. It is perfect in all ways but she is positive that the front is a totally different colour just because she knows it was painted.
