I'm not going to wrap my car in a screen protector, I'm not parking at the end of a parking lot just to stay away from other cars.. If its a daily driver then I understand shit happens.. It's the people that wrap the seats in towels, the paint in screen protectors and stuff that just baffle me.. I have a good friend that does the towels over the seats.. He says to protect them... Then why buy the top of the line interior if you don't enjoy it.. I don't understand it.. I like my car being as nice as possible.. To each their own.. I can understand the guys frustration.. I had my car 3 weeks and the whole right rear quarter panel got smashed.. I pushed it out.. My car isn't a beater.. But I don't stress over it.. I was pissed at the time.. Now idgaf.. May e that's why I feel like that over the whole car.. I wash it maintain it and keep it clean.. But if you don't want scratches and dents and stuff.. Then keep it in the garage till your ready to head out the the local Starbucks and be a parking lot pimp
now i agree w/ you man. but i think we are mistaking people who want to keep their car as nice as they can, to overly anal people. personally, i consider this car a 27 grand piece of my property. thats alot of money in an asset and frankly, i want that asset to be as nice as possible for as long as possible.

if i get a door ding or dent from someone then its no different than if that person ran up to me, grabbed $500 and ran away. either way, i have lost money from what that person did. so thats where my frustration would be.

Otherwise buy a beater and park this in your garage and it'll always look shiny new.. I was pissed when at 3 weeks old my car was backed into... I pushed the dent out best I could its still there... I don't care.. Lol
i hope someone keys your car

I know OP was exaggerating - I would be pissed off too if someone dented my car. But really, what can you do? From what I saw that morning, I was worried that there was structural damage to the car. It was a real relief to be told that there wasn't any.

People don't appreciate cars in general... No matter were in the world you and your car are in. "It's just a car".... A car that i work very long hours as a medical doctor to have!!! I think the drivers in general ( no matter the car) should be more considerate. Not everyone in our society have the love, dedication and RESPECT in each other as human beings...that being written...what kind of respect would you expect from A$$h00ls with their banged up cars.
It's my scion fr-s, part of my way of life and my character...so i protect it, as i protect my character and my way of life!

Thanks everyone!
