I had shortened Whitelines on the old setup. Reality is that lots do not know how to set up properly, especially on strut-linked cars where it's more important than control arm links. Not only free of bind but have to ensure that the bar is not hitting the arm, and that there is full range of motion. If tightened wrong it's easy to limit the range of motion, then it will bind.

Kind of what I was getting at. I'm just lazy and didn't feel like typing it out

Do you know if there is a DIY or a video that explain in details how to set-up the adjustable endlinks properly on our cars?

You basically want to make sure that it's tightened in the neutral position, if the ball joints are biased to one side or the other with the wheels straight ahead they will bind under steering and load. Jack the car up, take a wheel off and move the steering wheel through it's range of motion, it's enlightening how much they need to articulate to accomplish their job. I suspect the broken white line links and a few extreme handing issues are due to the ball joints not being centered when they are installed.

It's really easy to get sloppy tightening the end link length adjustment and put it out of whack if you're not paying attention. And note that up in the air is not a perfect representation of what happens when it's on the ground, but it's much easier to see.
