Ugh, hot hatches are gross.

However, I will definitely pay attention when some variation of this engine ends up in the s2000 successor.

This was my Fit. Great little car! Quick revving and nimble as shit, just like a go-kart. I only wish they'd make an Si or R-Type of this instead of the Civic. I initially went to buy a Civic Si and test drove the Fit just out of curiosity. You can see which one I preferred. The Civic was downright boring compared to the Fit.

I'd still be driving it if a hailstorm hadn't totaled it. I used the insurance check to buy my FR-S. Don't get me wrong, I love the FR-S, but as a daily driver, the Fit was much more practical and yet still a hell of a lot of fun to toss around. Of course, only with a manual. The automatic was pretty anemic.

I think I get nostalgic over the Fit because it was surprising how much fun it was to drive. With all the hype over the twins, you expect it to be fun, but the enjoyment I got from the Fit was so unexpected, and for about 9 grand less.

Used to own an '09 Fit auto myself. Only problem I have with it is on highway or high speed. It's just too "wobbly". Windy days just makes it worse.

Well what do you know. People hating on Honda, what a surprise.

OEM boost with Honda reliability? Yes please.

BTW I think the title should say 2016.

I put a set of Conti DWS 205/50R16's on mine to help with that.

Honda makes GREAT engines -- that's what I miss the most. My FR-S's boxer felt sluggish coming from my Fit, even with nearly twice the HP. I know it is quicker in reality, but it doesn't "feel" like it. Honda's just rev more freely, and seem to have more torque down low.

Granted, the FR-S loosened up some after I got about 4K miles on it, and a Unichip leveled out the torque dip somewhat.

If there was a pre-fabbed swap kit for a K24 F22C for the FRS, I would have already dropped the coin.

I love 4-cyl engines and I love the transmission and rear diff of the FRS but the NA Subaru pile is pretty terrible. Nonetheless I love my FRS but still...

Honda and torque in the same sentance.

This was probably more an issue of the drive by wire... I felt the same way coming from my old car.
