Someone find me the cheapest price they can find on this procedure and I will beat it. I have a cnc mill and can do whatever bore you would wish to see. Just send me your core and I'll bore it and put in a new plate and get it back to you so we can see what the true results are!

Are you looking for a guinea pig or have you done this on your own car already?

Please go to maxbore. Stock throttle body is ~64.5-65mm. Maxbore is 68mm when finished. I have a Maxbore throttle body and zero issues it is direct plug and play but AFR's may be out of wack after. Only issue is the throttle hang when you depress the clutch pedal. Although I've gotten used to it.

wouldn't a throttle body spacer be considered the same because it extends the length?

No thats just slightly increasing the volume of the intake manifold.

We have done it with Camaro throttle bodies in the past and seen positive results but I have yet to have the opportunity to do this to my BRZ. I wouldn't mind having a couple guinea pigs to throw together some different combinations of straight bores and tapers as well as spacers and adapters to different throttle bodies.
