FW1 Wash & Wax

Picked up a bottle of this FW1 wax at a gas station some sales people were demonstrating. I think they were pricing it at close to $20 per can. I'm not that big of a sucker, I said I'll try it for $10, they agree.

Initial thoughts on the product: it's decent. They advertise it as an all purpose cleaner and wax. Took my car to the car wash today. I live in Florida and the front end of the cars get nailed with nasty bugs which are very hard to remove.

I initially used this bug remover with lemon extract I purchased at autozone. Spray a bit, let it sit. Overall, the bug cleaner was horrible at removing the hard plastered bugs. Some of these bugs almost infused in the clear coat and are very difficult to remove (I wash my car at least 2-3 times a month). Spray this FW1 stuff, let it sit for 30 seconds and the bug shit comes right off. Pretty impressive just for bug removal.

I gave the car a good wash and decided to give it a wax with the product. Little spray goes a long way, I buffed it in nicely and with a 2nd cloth cleaned any residue. Definitely gave the car a nice shine and glossy slippery finish.

Anyway, I figured I'd share my experiences with this...I was skeptical and read certain people on the internet bashing it but I think it works well and for the $10 it was worth the price.
