Over the past couple of days, i've paid more attention to my throttle to see if there's any hesitation. I have an auto, so it doesn't stall or depend on throttle/clutch skills, so maybe it doesn't apply in this case. throttle response is definitely slower than my last car (which was cable), but i can't really see a difference between stock and post SC install. i'd have to compare it to another stock auto. power delivery seems pretty smooth, and i only notice the slightest hesitation when it's cold and hasn't warmed up yet. it's gone in the first half mile. above 2500 rpm, throttle response is quick enough for me - no complaints.
my previous car (280Z) was was primitive by today's standards; and not the easiest to drive in traffic. the throttle was actually a bit too responsive for stop and go traffic, and combined with the heavy clutch, most people i let drive the car would keep stalling it, LOL. here's what i had on my Z:

Note: I could have sworn I selected map to be kpa, but I guess I have it set to bars... full throttle, 2.5k-4k rpm - http://datazap.me/u/bigfatflip/16021...log=0&data=6-8 partial throttle, 2.5k-4k rpm - http://datazap.me/u/bigfatflip/16021...log=0&data=6-8 I think what I'm noticing is more the throttle mapping. I noticed a huge difference in feel between going partial to higher (but not 100%) throttle position and going from partial to 100% (foot on floor). There was definitely almost no "lag" or hesitation going to 100%, just a good steady build-up. Also, could this be at all related to how the by-pass valve behaves? ie the split second it takes for it to fully close? |

I am interested in Edelbrock SC kit , i know TVS 1320 is capable of 400bhp but i do not know limits of this kit (specially cooling) for 400bhp?
do you recommend waiting for E-Force releasing stage 2 or this kit could be use for 400bhp just by upgrading 70mm pulley and 900cc injector and DW300 fuel pump? Last edited by Toyota86.ir; 02-17-2016 at 05:32 AM. |

superchargers make less boost at higher altitude , my city altitude is 1200m above sea level and 400bhp power convert to 340bhp in my city. I do not worry about that power (12psi) with E85. i just worry about throttle response after supercharging because i guess i reduce sharp throttle in lower rpm Quote:

Anyone have and can post any recent dyno charts with their Edelbrock SC build on e85? For comparison.

Not sure if this was answered but on their site it says emission pending. So is this not legal yet? Or does this meaning something else?
