FRS/BRZ tail lights have the red reflectors on the corners to meet with DOT standards (actually not sure it's DOT or some other dept). all overseas cars don't require it.

also cars that don't have tail lights that wrap around the corners are required to have separate reflectors usually mounted to the bumper.

If i had an FR-S i would put the Subaru badge on it, since its a subaru after all. Toyota just put some money on the development!

Some money?!?!? toyota own it, suburu built it for them as they didnt have the manufacturing facilities. Much cheap to work with someone than build a new facility from scratch. Also toyota wanted to use the boxer engine to get the low cog.

Toyota pretty much own suburu now.

Toyota owns 16% ? Of fuji industries.

Suburu is about 20% of fuji industries.

I used to have a free version of this map.

You wouldnt have guessed its that complicated?!?!?

You'll just end up with hand prints on all of your windows or getting rear ended and sideswiped in traffic.

Go for it

Netz badge wouldn't be bad, but this is the first I've heard of it. Wha'ts the history behind the badge?

Deep down I'm pretty sure every suby fan is glad Toyota handled the aesthetics.

There are a few different Toyota dealer networks in Japan, Netz is one of them. Most cars sold there don't get a normal Toyota badge up front but a Netz badge.
Cars from other dealers like, toyopet and corolla store usualy get an model specific badge in the front.

An example of a model specific badge on a MarkII.

you'd have to change the entire steering wheel with a JDM toyota one i would think. Its probably less complicated than the airbag piece alone.

How exactly do re-sell a rebadged car?

"Yeah, It's a Scion, but I was so ashamed of the brand, I had to pass it off a as a Toyota..."

Not exactly a winning sale strategy.
