Great - thanks for this... I've been looking around for a while, and hoping to get one of these early 2016. Planning on installing myself (with 1 more person to help) - so the notes are definitely welcome, and great pics. Can't wait to feel the extra torque of this bad boy, and living in a fairly warm and dry climate... I'm super excited Our gas is a bit worse than yours, so I might not match the power, but it'll be comparable to any other kit anyway (i.e. any kit will lose a bit cos of the fuel!) Can't wait to fit mine! Now I gotta add a few bucks to the budget for a clutch!!

A Q on this kit...
On normal fuel what have you seen i.t.o fuel consumption changes? (I know it depends on how your drive etc, but interested to know). e85 would then reduce it by another 20% or more, so it could end up with me driving garage to garage

How much you think you would have gained if you didn't have the stock OP and FP (Catless)? Those numbers are just sexy

As long as you're not constantly accelerating or getting on your gas, your fuel consumption should be more or less the same. At cruise, at least a good 29 - 30 miles per gallon, whatever that works out to be in metric. Problem is, once you have all this power and torque, you're going to be on it. ALL.THE.TIME. Quote:

This couldn't be more true lol. I averaged 33.5mpg on a 5 hour trip home from the mountains. And around town I bet I could probably get decent mileage. But it's just SO easy to be on it constantly. And let me tell you....in boost, she's THIRSTY. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No offense but this is a sports car not a Prius. Gas mileage is directly proportional to your right foot.

I know everyone is peak number hungry, but out of curiosity, did you happen to do an initial dyno run with the canned Edelbrock tune on the car? I'd be curious what that looked like with your exhaust setup since the Edelbrock posted numbers with a stock exhaust should be somewhere in the 240whp range. Thanks! |

Being on the gas allllll the time = self inflicted fun Glad to know it would be similar otherwise. We have 93/95 here, but I believe it's not as good as your 91. Not sure exactly how they measure it. Really can't wait for next year to get this kit!

I agree... But if it's going to mean spending all my time at the garage filling up then it would just be easier to buy another car. I (sadly) spend a bit of time in traffic and have to drive to work etc...

Were stock injectors and FP used for both cars that were tuned?
