Probably even easier if you start with an Acura CSX Type S instead.

Perhaps an "old mechanics tale" but I thought I've read Mustangs were originally intended to be for women. Hence, "pony car" as opposed to "muscle car" of the same era.

IIRC, they were advertised as a car for females, I remember a add that was pushing the Mustangs as a perfect car for female secretaries.

Then, they optioned the V8.

I'd totally rock the pink Mustang if that Tussy girl came with it. Wonder what she looks like now....

honestly can't remember where I read it and too lazy to search. I believe it said when the first 911 came out in 1964, it was marketed to a female audience

They are just starting to see women buy Porsches... they like the SUVs.

The 911 was made as a more powerful, more luxurious and more roomy successor to the 356. That doesn’t really sound like it appeals to women, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was marketed to American women in the past considering many men were more into muscle cars in the past than small, European roadsters.

Maybe he got confused with the first ever production Porsche 911 that was bought by a woman named Jolanda Tschudi.

Actually, I think it was the 914 that was intended for a female audience. A former co-worker who was really into 914s and spent years and $$$ restoring one told me that once...

Could be, but I remember reading that about the 911 specifically. I can't remember which magazine - evo, octane or motorsport. Maybe the victory by design porsche episode. One of those.
