I turned the wi-fi off and it gave better standby battery life. Could give it a try.

I really want one of these but it seems like most people aren't super happy with v2. I can't find a used v1 DL anywhere either!

Some still have V1 at a discounted price: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/us/aim-...input-1279263/

That model has flying leads. It won't work with a OBD2 port!

Hopefully the Solo 2 is more accurate thanks to Glonass?

Holy molly, that is a big big difference. I though the solo1 was supposed to be accurate and judging by the smoothness of the blue line, the 2 is actually the more accurate one and 1 just has a much lower sample rate?

I will redo this comparison with a different set of Solos to confirm these results.

My main issue with the Solo 2 is the unreliability of the WiFi. I wish they left the USB port as an option. Also, they seem to have changed the data format so third party tools don’t show the data correctly so I’m forced to use the crappy Aim Analysis

I just got a used Solo (1) DL a couple of months ago for 400 bucks - I got really lucky. Only issue was the battery (not needed when plugged into the OBD) was toast (only held charge for like 3 minutes).

AIM replaced the battery - the part and shipping two ways cost me about 70 bucks.

Still totally worth it IMO. Keep looking. They're out there.

I've been lazy about it, but I'm slowly working on a tool which will convert the output of a Solo 2 / Solo 2 DL into VBO format so you can use any tool which supports Vbox (which is most of the stuff around).
