2017 2018 Aftermarket tail lights

Anyone seen these CHINA replicas for the 2017 2018 BRZ/86 tailights?
They have a sequential feature:

Dear lord, those sound amazing. I wish I could find a video because, these are the ones I would snatch up in a heartbeat.

I've never really liked how the Valenti's sequential lights were small LEDs. There was the other model but, DoT was a thing and along with it being 600 USD.

If you can find a video, I'll more than likely purchase it. I've been looking but to no avail.

I really don't want to buy this and suddenly, they're not sequential like advertised.

--

EDIT: So I did some research and found a YouTube channel they have.

Most of their lights look like stock modifications judging from the Camaro video. And yes indeed, they do feature sequential features.

So yes, these are more than likely legit.

Yeah, I plan on buying them in the future.

Sadly my list of mods includes an OFT + Header.

But, this is DEFINITELY after that!

Kodename47, I guess you are the 1st one to get these. Please follow up when you receive them. I think this is the same Ebay company selling them.

Very possibly. They are shipping on Monday and shipping via FedEx so expect to be with me within a week. Communications have been good so far and managed to persuade a little early adopter discount. I found them selling direct on eBay UK for less than the Dollar conversion but not sure if this works in your favour at all.... It was ~£245 on ebay.com but £220 on ebay.co.uk. That's the same seller as well.

If I may ask, what did you ask them? I'll send them a message and see what they can do for me - if anything. Considering you might be the first one to have bought it.

I might get these too, but contingent on your evaluation on the quality. I was looking to hack open my OEM tails and wire them up to be sequential, but this might save me some headache.

I didn't ask them anything as such, I have found with China eBay sellers that it's just too much hard work at times. But I did put in a lowball offer that was refused and they explained why and each time a message was sent it was quickly responded to. I have made it clear that I'll be posting up on forums, whether that makes a difference or not, who knows.

They don't come with gaskets, so I'll prep up some myself. I'm interested to know whether these are reworked OEM, OEM replicas or use the OEM housing. Just a shame I don't have a MY17 to compare them too.

I have a MY17 and I would be happy to compare some time.

Please let me know how to use the gaskets, because honestly - I'm not sure how to do it. I was hoping it was plug and play straight away but, I guess not?

Do you think these are fine?

EDIT: Apparently I can buy gaskets from here for the MY17. Although, I'll probably have to special order it considering a search doesn't reveal it except for that page.

The early cars have taught me not to reuse the rear light gaskets. If you can get hold of OEM ones, the Toyota part numbers are SU003-06998 and SU003-06999. I have made my own for the 1st gen cars so I'll see how they compare.

Hey guys! Good news!

I did an e-mail asking for a demonstration and I now have a video.

It looks REALLY good!

However, this brings up a question for me.

Do 2016 taillights fit on a 2017 BRZ?

Yep -- they are interchangeable.

Now I really want a set because they look identical to OEM, and I happen to love the OEM tails over my previous tail lights (Valenti Revo and Spec-D).
