morel components 2 8" alpine type R 4ohm subs im going to get a single box for now, but will eventually get custom boxes to put one in each corner of the trunk. anything else i should know or get ? |

Crutchfield.com... Just go there.
Also, I prefer to just run 1 Mono and 1 4channel. In the BRZ I would just go high end speakers, bridge the 4 channel and forget the back (not like you need it). |

I'd add some deadner to do your doors and rear deck for sure. Other than that a DSP if you wanna splurge later, but that's about it. |

I'm not saying the V9 is a bad option, because it's a great one. I just like 2 Amps vs 1 for wiring purposes. |

I do not envy anyone trying to put an amp under a seat in this car. Also, that means you have to pull the seat out to adjust the tune, which is a little annoying.

+1. You should definitely factor in some sound deadening material into your build. This car is a no-frills sports car and therefore is prone to road noise and rattles - they wanted to keep the car as light as possible. The small 10 will exacerbate any rattles.

I found the v9 new for 399$ shipped on eBay, and the 8 inch speakers 99$ each shipped. Just wondering if the v9 has more than enough power if I wanted to put the 10inch alpine later on?
Also, what volume box should I look for for the 8 inch type R? (eBay) |

I'd just go a single 10". 2 8's is a bit much for this car.

2 8's will have more surface area than a 10 and just a little shy of 1 12.
