Had these for a year along with all other Whiteline goodies. I also have the Perrin shifter bushing.

FYI, the diff bushings cause the biggest increase in NVH out of all their parts. If you are ok with these, you've passed the Whiteline test! lol

You definitely hear the clutch (dis)engaging in all gears but it is more pronounced in 1st gear when the speed is low and you can hear it over the exhaust noise.

The diff whine/whistle is audible in all gears but is particularly noticeable when cruising in third or fourth gear.

Wonder if that would help stiffen it up without the NVH issues.
If you stiffen it up to the same amount, the NVH will be similar. The reason the diff inserts make such a difference is because of just how much movement there is in the stock bushings.

As for a DYI, the included instructions are very thorough. The only thing I found was that you don't actually have to remove the sway bar connection to the subframe to get at the bottom bolt on the left bushing. The stock bar is flexible enough you can move it out of the way to get the bold out easily. If you're running a bigger diameter and/or stiffer bar then you might not be as lucky.

That's why I'm curious. I had urethane insert motor mounts and they stiffened up quite a bit in comparison to the WindoWeld mounts.

The Urethane cures into a rather low durometer material. I can't imagine it will be nearly as stiff as inserts or urethane replacements. But I feel this could possibly be a solution to the movement without being overly harsh on NVH.

I've used several types of motor mounts, but the Windo Weld'ed stock mounts were my favorite. Perhaps I will try this just to see how it does.

IMO, the noise is FAR from harsh, even at it's worst. My wife hasn't even noticed it yet, so it can't be that bad

Whiteline differential insert bushings review

I just swapped the differential oil for Amsoil severe gear sae 75W-90 GL5 today and I think he is more quite now... I mean I think the sound who come over 110km/h is a little bit more quite.

Maybe placebo effect bit anyway I have a better oil now.

I'm installing this kit right now. What are the bolt torque specs?

I don't know, I use anti-seize then I have torqued it by hand...

I guess I'll run them up pretty snug then recheck them after some driving

If you absolutely want to have them torqued, you can search on the web to find the chart to calculate what is the torque for an lubricated bolt.
Please clarify as I have torqued many bolts with anti-seize to recommend torques on aircraft before. Where does it say you cannot torque bolts like that? I am curious.

Whiteline differential insert bushings review

If you work in aircraft, maybe you know that better then me, but an I think when you lub a bolt, you can calculate what is the new torque spec because it will be more easy to screw then you can over-torquing...
