Actually that may help, I will have to check my springs. If I remember correctly they were installed 180 degrees out, but maybe moving both to the outside would be the way to go.

Thanks,

No problem, all I can do is share my experience with both the wrx gd exhaust and now a type 60s.

Good luck.

Has anyone else gotten a CEL after installation of any of these exhausts? I just got the code P2096 for post catalytic fuel trim bank 1 too lean.

I seen this when it was released and I personally will most likely get it but fake looking carbon fiber plastic for 80 dollars is a lot.

Agreed, it's very nice, but expensive for my taste.

I'll be making my own.

Any other exhaust mods done to the car? I suppose an exhaust leak may cause this, but usually I only see this when people are running a anti-fouler on the O2 sensor or have messed with the O2 sensor in some way. As the catback is after all emission components it should not cause any CEL's.

I'm glad there is something on the market to fill that hole. Hopefully more pop up in the market to give us some more options

Thanks!

I have not , I've had the exhaust for roughly 1-1.5k miles along with a hks resonated front pipe, and a greddy/afe intake(20k miles). Car feels fantastic! Butt dyno didn't register any gains , but the car does have some more pep now.(won't go into detail, but the car has had some fun on the street and surprised a few people including myself)

I have a TRD cat back (no intake or down pipe mods) and I want a little more unique sound since the TRD is conservative IMO. I am still split between all 3 Tomei's. I am leaning a Bit towards the 60s since I DD the car interstate all the time so cabin noise is an important factor. But it seems like these single exit exhausts IMO have the identical "Subie" sound I'm going for. What to do...... Hmmm

My DD is a catless 2005 Tiburon and my fun car is an FR-S with catless Borla UEL headers, PLM over pipe, factory front pipe, and Tomei 60R. When it cranks up, it's the loudest most obnoxious Harley-sounding piece of shit ever. For about 30 seconds. Then the engine calms down to normal idling speed. At which point I can sneakily drive the car out of my bullshit subdivision undetected. It's 50% more quiet than my Tiburon, which is pretty reaonsable, and extremely easy to modulate. I can navigate the 3 blocks out of my subdivision undetected, shifting at 2,000 RPMs or less.

I was really excited about the silencer that comes with the 60R, but now I realize I don't need it. Just don't drive like a full bag of douche, and you'll be just fine.

Except for cranking it cold. Cranking the engine cold is definitely reminiscent of the holocaust. Think Auschwitz on a bad day. Same sound.

I had a hard time with my setup which was full catless (borla uel , test pipe and a buddy club catback) my cold start was so bad and even crusing around id have to stay in 6th all the time (in town) to not sound like a douche !
