Installion of these is very easy. Like 10 minutes each side easy. Remove 4 clips on fender liner and 2 screws on fog light housing. Install new housing, connect adapter harness and button it back up.

I used these adapter harnesses:
http://www.spoonzauto.com/product_p/hn-brz-h11.htm

Some tips that I learned form the install. Reuse the pressed in bushings from the stock housings on the holes with the screws and wrap the other tabs with a few wraps of electrical tape. This will make the housings fit tightly into the opening. See pic below for the bushings. Just press them out and install them into the new light housing.

Is it possible for the h11's to fit into the stock harness and to just get the pigtail connectors?

Those people buying new H11 bulbs - are you getting the 35W or the 55W? Thanks.

If you look at the pictures BRZNutt posted, it looks like he used 55w.

Also, has anyone used the stock bulb that comes with the new fog? Would there still be an improvement? New bulbs look nice but they cost about as much as the fog assembly...

I would strongly advise against using a 55w HID in that housing.

55w generates a lot more excess heat than a 35w kit. You run the risk of damaging your factory housing (lenses etc*) by using a 55w.

Thanks @Opie for sharing this info on a better BRZ foglight option! Pulled the trigger this morning on the following:

45.13 EA. PN# 84501AJ00A @ subaruparts.com

10% OFF and free shipping coupon code: 5KQoRzW2 (Sparktacular Savings - The Sequel) Expires: 7/7/13 https://www.facebook.com/subaruparts
$81.24 Shipped for two.

5202 to H11 Pigtail Sockets wires for BRZ FR-S fog lamp conversion.

$11.99 Shipped for two.

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Optilux-H71071132-Series-Yellow-Halogen/dp/B002E2WMWG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top"]2 - Hella Optilux H71071132 XY Series H11 12V/55W Xenon Yellow Halogen [/ame]
$20.20 Shipped (Got mine from an ebay seller for a few dollars less. It was the last pair.)

Above is a $113.43 mod. Not bad IMO. I've used the H11 yellow halogens in foglights on other vehicles and tend to like the way they help visibility. The H11 bulbs have got to be a huge improvement over the OEM setup!!!

Better hurry to take advantage of the coupon code!!! Make sure subaruparts.com manually subtracts the shipping charge as mentioned on the FB post.

I've searched and read through this thread... and I'm still not entirely clear.
What will I need to install fogs like these on my premium BRZ (no stock fogs)?
Do premiums with no fogs still have the wiring present for the fogs?
Do I just need the proper fog bezels? Part number?

...
Also, what's the deal with the oem fog kit not bring compatible with early VIN BRZs?

Here's the Subaru accessory install guide. Got part numbers and picture diagrams. I not entirely sure, but I think there is still wiring for the fogs in the premium, I do see them add a switch or a light on the inside though.
Just replace the fogs listed in the manual with the outback ones listed in this thread.

- Haven't heard anything about oem fog kit not being compatible, you'll have to get other people's input on that.

This is still on my to-do list so.. hope it helps.

I ended up ordering Sylvania 9006 SU SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulbs

Not sure about the bulbs... But I wanted the whitest/brightest bulb (with a reasonable price) to compliment my HID's
