pic two is K&N filter, OFH, stage 2 V2.X E85, ESC TQ250 dump 2.0 with about 30 pulls on batts, that are semi warm, at 50 degrees.

the middle line in the first pic is 8.2 seconds from start of run, to give a reference point to the 8.2 second total run time of the ESC log
Thats a good comparison. Taking 4 full seconds off a 3rd gear pull is a massive difference in power. Good stuff

I could have probably shaved .1 or .2 seconds off that time too, but I experienced something.. boost lock? Immediately after going wot, it bogged and looking at my log, the engine load hit 4, but no knock events showed, and IAM stayed at 1 so I'll have to roll into a little slower at lower rpm's.

Will let you all know for sure.

Still on the fence between OFT and Ecutek. I have used HP Tuners in the past for most of the GM tuning I have done which sways me to Ecuteck. OFT seems to simplify things for basic tuning, but not sure of the limits. Can you write your own tunes for OFT? Straight forward to share tunes?

Need to continue my research...

This is very good. I saw your previous video which was being harassed by bunch ppl thinking it's the eBay fan charger thing. Thank you for you patience, I'm looking to get the kit myself sometime next year.

I know practically nothing about tuning, but from my usage and understanding of the OFT, you can use RomRaider to input anything you want into any of the provided tables, so I suppose you could say, yes you can write your own tune. Sharing tunes seems pretty easy as well, with the only exception being that they have to be the same Cal ID? I think different countries have some different table layouts or locations. You can still copy and paste the data in the tables if you have to.

If you want a single location to learn about the OFT, read the links in the signature of steve99 and you should get a good idea of what you can and can't do: ECU Logging-MAF Scaling-Knock Correction-E85 with OpenFlash Tune http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...01#post1842501 Flashing - Reset - Learning http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68328

Yeah I thought it was great too. Its definitely something most people can handle in their garage or even in a parking lot on a nice day, and the video is a testament to that.

However, I wish there were more videos on youtube of the performance. Both for the skeptics and the admirers (and people on the waiting list).

We are working on performance videos. Unfortunately dynos are expensive but if people want to chip in ill be happy to do a dyno video.

I had an idea of what to add to the video, but I don't have a camera. But I mounted my OFT close to my ESC volt display. I know it won't really show performance numbers, but If you set the OFT to real time display of boost, and have them both in the shot, the OFT will Prove that the ESC makes boost as you watch the voltage drop on the ESC display.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

Well, I installed the ESC this eve while listing to the Giants game in a random well lit parking lot by my friends house. Love the boost - kicks in very smooth. So far so great!
I also wanted to comment on the OFT ESC tune - this thing feels even smoother and the sound (with Perrin resonated) is killer!
Hardly sounds like a Subaru anymore but more like a Lemans car.
Great job Shiv and Rob and Steve for making the install video!

I really feel that this kit does not really interfere with the natural balance of the car and really feels like an extension of the engine.. I drove it for about 40 miles on high speed sections and curvy roads. I love the power coming out of the corners and like others have mentioned, not having to down shift to carry speed out of the corners.
Really reminds me of a 2012 WRX I drove but just more exiting.

This is awesome and shows that you can practically install the kit anywhere thats lit and you have the right tools.
You can probably unintall the kit 2 blocks away from the dealership on you visit and reinstall on your way back
