Coffee Tables?

I know some people have made sick coffee tables from car parts and such.

This is the best I could do, OEM wheels and wood I use under jack at track.

Post yours.

Will have to look through my old pics (remember when they were on paper????)
Had one many years ago that was a 64 Mustang truck lid tack welded onto some headers off a Chev 327 (long story)!
Eventually sold the truck lid for more them I paid for the car!

One of my coworkers asked me to TIG him a coffee table frame a few months ago. Thinwall 1"x1" stainless tubing was a b!tch to square, finally got it all welded and within 1/32" in every dimension. My coworker provided an island chopping block out of his parent's kitchen remodel. Turned out ok. I'm looking at a 1500cc Fiat X1-9 block right now for $50. I'm thinking that would make a neat table...

Looks good. I really want to learn some basic welding skills. Basically so I could start making my own furniture kind of like you made above. I'm tired of overpriced poorly constructed furniture that falls apart after a year. I had a guy when I was living in NC weld me a frame similar to what you did above for a queen sized bed. Came out great, will last me a lifetime and cost me like $400 including labor.
