you can always do this or even connect them direct to a ignition power - add a fuse and done - it will work and stay on every time the car is on -

But this is not the correct way to do it - IMO

We spent a lot of time to design and test what we offered to the market -

Our design does not change the way the factory DRL functions - so when the E brake is up the DRL bar turns off -

We quoted this out and asked someone to make these for us and the quote to manufacture these in bulk was up towards 75.00 our cost - it is not the parts that cost a ton - but they do cost for the right ones and quality ones - it takes about 30-45 minutes to build a set of these and solder it up the correct way -

Here is the link - and again anyone who got lights from us we can work with you and anyone who buys this we offer full support -

Also our piece does not cut into any factory wires - this is pretty important to a lot of 86 owners -

We are not saying other ways are bad - we are offering a solution that we think is good and proper. As we are also a part of this community and trying to help

Feel free to ask us any questions

If you are doing it yourself do you actually have to take the winjets apart?

Well for now I bought HID bulbs as I already have an HID kit with my stock headlights, but most likely will do a retrofit and change the projectors.

Yes to change the projectors to a better quality one you have to bake the headlights and split them apart to access the internals.

Not too bad, but it's not my first time either. Mind you @Gixxersixxerman is a perfectionist and will make sure the new projectors are installed perfectly, I'm just going to bolt them in and call them a day!
