i learned that lesson the hard way to park a vehicle so it's accessible outside the work zone. it's also easier for you yahoo's that don't have to deal with rusty vehicles! my truck is 2 pounds lighter, 1/4 of that probably went into my lungs. cheaper than smoking i guess!

3 hours was with a grinding wheel. if i had a torch, i'd have used it. i'm sort of avoiding the whole torch thing at the moment, because i've been pricing welders, and the associated gasses(which would also work for a torch). and if i get that, then my 6x6 ranger project starts, and i'll never finish anything else.

Haha... I grew up right between Niagara Falls and Rochester. Between there, Guam, and Minnesota, I've paid my dues bleeding through my knuckles.

Not enough brake dive for the non-mirror-checking, non-signaling, temp-tag new explorer blindly moving over to poke along in the new lane at the same time he shoots for the gap!

We sold our house, again. Looks like this one will go thru, but you never know. We Accepted an offer for a little under asking, but "as-is". Every other offer had us fixing every single thing in the home inspection report, then re-inspecting. Could you imagine trying to do that, while trying to pack, find storage for cars and a boat, tent for termites (You got to be out for 5+ days), find a place to go, and move 650 miles all in 30 days? The next 30 days will be hell just packing and moving.

Hooray!!!!

On the bright side you don’t have to go to work everyday on top of all that.

Yep. I'm starting to get used to this not going to work thing. My first pension check hit my account last night. Awesome.

We are not going to the kickoff today. We need a down day. First Saturday without an open house in 6 weeks.

I really wanted to go but have an ISO recertification audit all next week so would only be able to fly in Friday night and leave Sunday morning. That makes a $1200 trip a little too much. Me
Next year.
