Just got it recently and haven't got to changing it yet. The top cap of the stock knob is beginning to come loose so this could just be perfect timing .

Have you had a chance to try it out? Actually looking to get the same.

Not sure thou if it will fit my style of shifting as I tend to grab the knob at the top.. (no pun intended).lol

Thumbs up Moddiction Anvil 2

Here's my Moddiction Anvil 2 Textured Black shift knob. The knob is countersunk, so it'll stop the reverse-lock from functioning properly if you thread it all the way down. I was going to follow @PMok 's suggestion of using thread locker, but I found teflon tape (plumber's tape) to work much better.

I'm not a huge fan of sphere-type shift knobs, I like the Anvil 2 because it has a big resemblance to an S2000 shift knob (which feels GREAT).

As you can see the picture above, the threaded golden ring is actually inside the Anvil 2; the knob itself is threaded, and the threaded golden ring threads to that, which then threads to your shifter. If you apply enough teflon tape, you can get the golden ring to come off of the shift knob and sit at the top of the shifter like mine. Apply even more teflon tape to give you a snug fit as you thread the shifter on -- thread to your most comfortable height and test out the reverse-lock. I haven't had a chance to take the car around the block, but it seems to work at that height getting into reverse

Thanks @Moddiction !! I love this shift knob!
