Konig Hypergrams

Just a quick update:

Two 17x9 Konig Hypergrams arrived. Will probably order the other two next week, then get some tire on them!

Testing Fitting the Konig Hypergrams

Thought I would do a test fitting to see what the matte grey Hypergrams looked like on my 86. I think for a little bit of color to brake the grey's I am going to go with blue or some other color lug nut (maybe but not 100% decided on that yet).

Ordered the other two wheels and they should be in next week.

Size: 17x9

PS. Funny how my sons skateboard is the perfect height

Tight Fit

Falken Azenis RT615K+ 255/40Rx17

2 Wheels in the trunk
4 Tires in the back seat
2 Wheels in the passenger area

If it wasn't for needing to get the tire pressure sensors out of my stock wheels, I would have just taking my Mazda CX-5!

Hub Centric Rings

Had to pick up some hubcentric spacers and new lug nuts before I could change out my wheels and tires.

I guess I wasn't thinking of didn't do enough research but the dudes at the shop said i needed new lugs and hub centric spacers before they could continue. I was in a rush so I just said "ok", instead of having them take the sensors out of my stock wheels and throwing in some regular valve stems, and then mount my new wheels and tires. Then I could have just taken everything home and waited for these parts to arrive. I didn't think about that until I was just about home....(Silly me...)

No worries though...It'll get done!!

Mounted

Right out of the shop less the center caps. Wanted to get the pixs uploaded as fast as possible. I'll wash it and get some better ones later.

17x9 Konig Hypergrams with Falken Azenis rt615k+ 255/40 all the way around.

Didn't have much time to drive it yet, but first impressions.

Noise: Not bad at all (so far)
Grip: YES!!

On stock wheels and tires I was about 2.5 fingers. So far it hasn't rubbed with the new setup, but I have barely driven it at all. I don't anticipate it will rub though. I am on Tein coilovers btw. I'll follow up if it does rub.

I love mine man..can't stay good enough things about them.

Only downside is they slip in the cold.. I was on hwy 9 in like 30-35 F weather at night and they were not warmed up enough so i got slippage.

Also, not so good around corners on hwy 9 in the wet either..but i try to avoid driving my car when it rains when possible so this isnt a big issue for me.

the dry grip is great though, debating if i wanna stay with these or give advans a try next
