Need a dyno tune in sydney

Hi guys i havnt posted here before but i do a lot of reading,

I have a brz with the following mods:
*GREDDY Intake
*Rev Works UEL Headers
*Front Pipe
*Over Pipe

I want to get the car dyno tuned but dont know who will do the best job, ive had contact with MSR (Michael South) and after numerous software issues with BRZedit he determined that he cannot tune the car.

Where do you guys recommend going in sydney?

Cheers

Have you checked out MRT?

https://www.mrtperformance.com.au/pe...Z-2012-Onwards

They use EcuTeK Race ROm, havent used them myself though.

Hows the exhaust sound after the mods?

I havn't heard too many good things about MRT and im not happy with their prices either.

The car sounds heaps different with all the exhaust bits, very loud and raspy on a cold start, sounds pretty much standard when driving at low rpm, but when you put your foot down it sounds great and has that nice rumble from the unequal length headers

Maybe Paul from Pulse Racing.
My friend had his car tuned there and is very happy with their service and performance tuning.

No personal experience but Insight is highly regarded on the Aus Liberty forums.

From the same forum MRT is to be avoided.

I am going to http://www.pvs1.com.au/ within a month*. They use brzEdit to good effect. Tony from Coyote Tuning, based in Brisbane, also uses brzEdit.
Broad sweeping statement coming up. It isn't the software so much as the operator. Yes, I know Michael South is well regarded by the Subaru crowd but (and I am only hypothesing here) maybe he doesn't have the experience with brzEdit and BRZs and 86s.

*This assumes I can get a booking at Botany RTA for the IM240 test.

how much is PVS1 charging you for a tune?

I ended up booking my car in with insight motorsport as they came highly recommended by a few people and they were reasonable on price unlike other places wanting 1500-1700 for a tune.

Michael South's big problem was the brzEdit software is too unreliable and that there is too much crashing with the software, which take him extra time to tune a car and like in my case, the software was not even loading up to the ECU of the car.

I was told $800-$900 depending upon what needed to be done.

Go to SAS automotive in silverwater and speak with Adrian Norton.
He is an older man with amazing experience with many many cars.

Rates are about 900 for a tune give or take hiccups along the way which are bound to happen.
