Anybody know the absolute cheapest place to rent a car from for about 3-4 days? From what I searched, hotwire --> expedia --> costco all have about the same prices. It would be for Oct 30th - Nov 2nd. Pick up in San Jose. I can't seem to find it cheaper than $70-$72 from the above mentioned 3 search engines. I swear prices went up. I rented a car in summer for 5 days for $47+gas, but that was in Vegas. And I swear that the prices at Costco used to be like $5 a day. Not sure what is going on. Maybe cause its Halloween weekend??

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

@brz408 Judging by your name I would say you have the brz. Not sure if Subaru had the same deal as Toyota but I got 10 free complimentary rentals for the scion swap promotion when I got my car this year. If not, you can also check with Toyota rentals. I think they charge around $24 for the day.

@aaguilar3 very interesting, also very doubtful from Subaru. I might just see if they have a WRX as a rental car. I'd have to change my planned return date to never tho. Haha.

I like how Scion smothers you guys with love and customer appreciation while Subaru doesn't give us jack.

Nope, if its anything like my Subaru dealer, they will give you an Impreza with a CVT

Do you or know anybody that has AAA? I've had pretty good discounts with the membership from Hertz, Avis & Budget
