Rear body panel/window/rear quarters came loose first and yanked the wing off.........wing didn't fail first.

Wow. What part of that car was GT86? The headlights? Very capable dirt road beast for sure. I wonder what the engine/drivetrain is in that thing. It goes to show you how important down force/aero is in racing.
