Agreed. This is my daily, I'm going to get another early in the next year and just do oil cooler + rad (because Texas) and some tires to stay in CS until I get better.

Currently the axleback is being developed to have the lowest possible loss with the proper sound production qualities. When it is ready, it will be ready...that's really the only way to answer that question, unfortunately.

Just about right in terms of sound/loudness for me. I wouldn't want it any louder or quieter.
The STX class restrictions are good and bad at the same time.

Complete catless goes to SM (we think...forgot the ruleset), which makes the car completely non-competitive in a class with 500HP cars and 305 Hoosiernentals.

Some NASA/SCCA and Time Attack organizations want within 18", so it's probably best to keep within the same general location. If we can get some unicorn cores, we can produce class specific HFC systems.

Everyone needs more seat time. Sad to say, even though we hold records even to this day, there is always more to be gained on these tracks.

Ehm, I'm working on it.

David,

Thanks for the offer, but the JDL piece looks great, it's ready out of the box, and it costs less than the Ace catless front pipe already, IIRC. Also, I've been hoping to toss some business their way for a while. They've been supporting the community, and making great products for us for years now.

I'll be ready when you finish the rear section, though.

Support to businesses who look to improve the platform over extensive R&D and testing helps all of us continue improving the platform altogether. Likewise, this is why we love supporting ACE. The product is some of the best we've seen in the industry (this is comparing to other platforms too) and the end user benefits tremendously from it.

Thanks. Comparing to stock, how much louder is that setup at highway cruising speed?

It's been nearly a year since I've had stock exhaust, I couldn't comment with any sort of accuracy.

I just drove the car to and from Lincoln, Neb., with the rear seats down and it was completely tolerable. There's a lot of other NVH from the suspension, poly bushings, etc., so the exhaust is the least of the noise problems lol.

Oh no doubt! I wasn't trying to imply I'm Schumacher or anything.

Prefer not to be Schmaucher right now.

Even the pros continue to improve.

I'm having a "rattling" or metal "buzzing" sound, like metal vibrating against metal (above ~4K RPM). I have hammered the skid plate to oblivion, there's now about 3/4" gap with the skid plate and the header, so there's no way that's the problem.

The only other spot I could see being the problem is the over pipe against the frame but that also has a fairly large gap between them and the pipes barely move even when I push on them so I see no way it would move enough to touch the frame during driving.

Has anyone else had this problem? I can't figure out what's causing it.

A/350 shouldn't have any fitment issues at all.

Double check to make sure all your bolts are torqued properly, and also check your other exhaust components.
